WHAT?….WHO?
The adversaries aren’t just the stereotypical faceless figures in hoodies, lurking in dark basements or abandoned warehouses.
No, they can be anyone, anywhere—a college student working in the school library, a teenager pretending to do homework, or even a tech-savvy grandma looking to boost her retirement funds… in less-than-ethical ways.
Anyone with strong computer skills can join the game. While some might do it for fun, far too many act with harmful intentions.
What kinds of computer viruses are wreaking havoc and keeping us up at night?
There’s the infamous Trojan Horse, Malware, Adware, the Morris Worm, the "I Love You" virus, and countless others.
These viruses may not have a physical form—they’re simply lines of code or programs delivered through emails or other channels to disrupt computer networks and steal sensitive information.
But if they had a form, perhaps they might look something like this:
